POSITIONING

• To avoid falls and overturning do not place the unit on gradients steeper than 10°.
• When moving a welding cart on a gradient pay attention to ensure that:
- the weight of gas cylinders, wire spools, mobile devices and all other items on the
cart is distributed in a balanced manner;
- all covers are closed and all moving parts are securely fixed. Avoid situations whe-
rein sudden shifting of loads could cause the unit to overturn.
• During welding operations immobilize the unit on wheels (if standing on a gradient)
using hooks or ropes to prevent it from rolling or overturning.
• Install the compressed gas cylinders in a vertical position and secure them to a fixed
support or to the specifically designed holders. Protect gas cylinders from excessive
heat, impact, welding slag, open flames and sparks.
• Keep the cylinders well clear of the welding operations and of any other electrical
circuits.
