LIFTING

• Use the handles and straps solely for manual lifting of the equipment.
• No specific hooking points are provided on the unit.
• Use the following for mechanical lifting:
- A forklift truck;
- Ropes/chains that are slung around the base of the unit to be lifted.
• Do not attempt to lift gas cylinders, carts, or any other mobile devices
together with the welding power source.
• Ensure that lifting chains/ropes are sufficiently strong to support the wei-
ght of the unit.
• Check that all devices that must be lifted with the unit are properly secu-
red and unable to become dislodged.
• Check that the fixing screws between the welding power source cart and
the parts mounted on the cart are fully tightened before lifting (the tighte-
ning torque should be at least 10 Nm).
• Disconnect the unit from the mains power supply before performing me-
chanical lifting operations.
• Make sure the unit is electrically isolated from the mechanical lifting me-
ans if welding operations must be performed when the unit is held aloft.
