Installing Your Device
Follow these steps carefully to ensure proper installation and optimal performance of your strip light.
Prepare the Surface for Installation
•
Choose a clean, dry, and smooth surface where you want to attach the strip light.
•
Use a cloth or cleaning wipe to remove dust, grease, or moisture from the surface.
•
Allow the surface to fully dry before applying the strip light to ensure a strong adhesive
bond.
•
Peel off the adhesive backing from the strip light and press it firmly onto the surface.
•
Apply gentle but consistent pressure along the length of the strip to secure it properly.
Attach the Controller Box
•
Locate a suitable position for the controller box, preferably near the power source and close
to the music source (if it has sound-reactive features).
•
Peel off the protective film from the adhesive backing of the controller box.
•
Stick the controller box firmly onto the chosen surface, ensuring it is within reach for easy
operation.
•
Avoid placing the controller in areas with excessive heat or moisture, as this may affect
performance.
Power On and Test the Strip Light
•
Connect the power adapter to the controller box.
•
Plug the adapter into a wall socket or a compatible power source.
•
Turn on the strip light using the controller or remote (if applicable).
•
Check if the entire strip lights up properly. If any section does not illuminate, ensure the
connections are secure.
