8.3 Required cable set
The FP1por/CD ist equipped with the required cable set and
consists of:
1. NF cable with connector
2. DC cable with connector

8.4 Radio receiver installation in 4 steps
The FP1
was designed in such a way that specialised
pro/CD
dealers can install the radio receiver, independently following
successful completion of an installation training course at
Fohhn Audio AG.

Procedure
1.
Remove the mounting bracket
Remove the 4 fixing screws from the slot cover and mounting
brackets and remove them from the speaker housing.
2.
Affix a radio receiver to the mounting bracket
Reveal the affixing strip on the mounting bracket with no
foam affixed, and stick to the radio receiver.
Observe the following points:
1.
Components must not protrude over the edge of the
bracket, otherwise the plate cannot be replaced.
2.
Sorgen Sie für eine eindeutige Beschriftung bzgl. der
Funkfrequenzen des eingesetzten Empfänger. Benutzen
Sie hierfür das vorgesehene Feld auf der Anschlußplatte
„wireless reveiver ch3".
3.
Make sure that there is a smooth, clean sticking surface
on the receiver housing, otherwise any adhesive material
will not stick.
Avoid any unevenness, e.g. ready-pressed feet on the
device or protruding screws. Do not cover protrusions
with adhesive tape.
Note:
Please use only a very reliable double-sided mirror adhesive
tape
3.
Connect and secure NF and DC cables
Connect up the jack, XLR and DC cables. Secure the
connectors using cable ties, silicon or elastic adhesive.

4.
Commissioning the FP1
1.
Place the mounting plate back in the speaker housing.
2.
Make sure that none of the connector cables are trapped.
3.
Tighten all screws back up evenly.
4.
Switch on the FP1pro and the microphone or the pocket
receiver and test the installed microphone system.
5.
Turn up the volume of the receiver to the maximum
setting (max.).

Check the polarity of the DC connector
Check the polarity before connecting and securing the
DC connector (polarity is marked on the receiver
housing).

Secure connectors
Take special care to ensure that the NF and DC
connectors to the radio receiver are specially secured.
Connectors are not usually fitted with a secure
locking mechanism and can ìfall outî through slight
vibration during transportation.
