theDRFTASSIST S YSTEM D-BOX direct y to thechassis o r anyplacewhichmayget
spatteredWithfuel. Heat or fue may damage the DRIFT ASSIST SYSTEM D-BOX.

SYSTEM D-BOX surface to be attached to the car.
Attach the DRIFT ASSIST SYSTEM [)-BOX to a surfacebigger than the DRIFT
ASSIST SYSTEM D-BOX surface to be attached.
Connect the steeringservo connectorto the DRFTASSISTSYSTEM
D-BOX. Then, c onnect t hesteering inputconnector of theDRIFT A SSIST
SYSTEM D-BOX to thesteering channel connector o f thereceiver.

• Ifyoudo theinitialization in an unstab e place,theinitialization maynotbe
completed properly andtheLED maynotstopflashing.
CHECK THE STEERING SERVO MOVEMENT
5 Move the steering whee (stick) from side toside tocheck m oving
directions. I fthecar moves in thereverse directionfromthesteering,
makean adiustment withthereceiver r everse function.

6 Lift t hechassis tail a little with your hand a nd move i t from side toside.
If the steeringmoves in the counter-steering direction, which is the same
asthetaildirection, t hereshould be no problem, O ncetheposition Of
the DRIFT ASSISTSYSTEM D-BOXis finalized, attach the DRIFT ASSIST
SYSTEM DBOX firmly in place.
Ifa servooperatesin reverse,turn theDRIFT ASSIST SYSTEM D-BOXupsidedown.
IftheDRIFT ASS STSYSTEM D -BOX isattached u pside down,sensor wil easi y spin.

MAKE SURE TO USE THE DOUBLE-SIDED SPONGE TAPE INCLUDED TO ATTACH THE SENSOR TO THE CAR.
* Thisis to minimizecar vibration to be transmittedto the sensorand to fix the sensorfirmly in place. Thesensorcable
shouldnot be strainedtoo tight.

THE SENSOR CABLE SHOULD NOT BE STRAINED TOO TIGHT.
If the sensorcable is strainedtoo tight, the sensorcannot provide its maximumperformance.If the sensorcomesoff,
the car will be out of controland this can be very dangerous.
O ATTACH THE SENSOR AS FAR FROM A MOTOR
• The noisefrom motoror speedcontroller mayhave an impact on a receiveror sensor _ If it does,changethe sensor
position _

PRESS THE CONNECTOR FIRMLY INTO THE JACK ON THE DRIFT ASSIST SYSTEM D-BOX.
* If the connectorcomesoff due to vibration in driving, the car will be out of controland this can be very dangerous.

ALWAYS CHECK THE POLARITY OF THE SENSOR OUTPUT.
If it is connectedin reversepolarity, the car wil turn very fast in a certain direction and this can be very dangerous.
CAUTION IN OPERATION
AFTERTURNING ON THESENSOR (TURNING ON THESENSORAUTOMATICALLYTURNS ON A RECEIVER), D O NOT
MOVE THE CAR UNTIL THE MONITOR
Once the sensoris turnedon, sensorinitialization startsautomatically.If the car movesduring the sensor
initialization, the initialization will not be completedproperly.
AVOID SUDDEN CHANGES IN AMBIENT
Do not runthe car right after taking it out from a real car or roomwith different temperaturefromoutside. Leavethe
car outside for about 10 minutesto stabilize the sensortemperaturebeforeturning on the car. Also, keep the sensor
from direct sunlightto avoid suddentemperaturechanges.
