In an effort to promote safety and fun with your use of the scooter, we at CARROMCO would like to offer the following maintenance and safety information to improve your scooter safety and enjoyment. Your CARROMCO scooter is a quality scooter. It has been constructed utilising quality components available through most bicycle shops. With periodic maintenance, common sense use and care, your scooter can provide many years of riding enjoyment. Prior to assembly of this scooter please read through the Instruction Manual carefully and familiarize yourself with all product parts, assembly steps, and guidelines. PLEASE NOTE - If you are missing a part, or if you have any questions, please call or contact the Customer Service Centre (+49 (0) 1805 25 63 63, service@carromco.com) and we will endeavour to assist with any queries that you may have. Please also note your model number (as detailed on the front page of this manual and also located on the barcode panel of the colour label on the front apron of the carton packaging) as this information is necessary should you need to contact us with any product queries. Colours and content may vary from items shown. USING THE SCOOTER Make sure the child is comfortably positioned on the fully assembled and checked scooter. Demonstrate the steering to the child until they have mastered the function and operation of the handlebars and steering assembly. Demonstrate how to safely stop the scooter. The time taken for a child to master and then co-ordinate each operation can vary considerably. Only when the child has reached a stage where it is able to balance the scooter, it should be allowed to use the scooter unassisted, though not unsupervised. SAFETY WARNINGS: Please read below instruction before using the scooter. • Adult assembly required. Before letting a child ride this scooter, ensure that all nuts, bolts and fixings are secure. -

78141 ENGLISH • Never allow the user to put any part of the scooter in their mouth or to attempt to put any part of his or her body, or any plaything into the moveable or moving parts of the scooter. The rider should be instructed accordingly. • Remove any sharp edges while using the scooter. • Please ensure that you carefully read all instructions contained in this booklet. MAINTENANCE Frequent inspections should be carried out to ensure that nuts, bolts and fixings are secure and that no parts are worn or damaged. Periodically and sparingly lubricate moving parts with a light oil, i.e. front axle, rear axle and headset bushes. Handlebars: Adjust for your child’s comfort and proper fit. Make sure at least a distance of 2.5’ (65mm) is inserted into the headset. Securely fasten the handlebar bolt and nut. It is most important to replace worn or damaged handlebar grips. CLEANING Wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Do not use industrial cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surfaces. Do not use alcohol, alcohol-based or ammonia-based cleaners as they may damage or dissolve the plastic components or soften the decals or decal adhesive. It’s recommended to clean and dry the scooter after each use. Store it in its original carton when not in use. Keep it away from any corrosive materials. WASTE DISPOSAL: Dispose the scooter through a private or state recycling agency. Please be aware of the updated official directives. Please contact the recycling agency in case of doubt. Lenker: Stellen Sie die für Ihr Kind komfortable und richtige Passform ein. Stellen Sie sicher, daß der Lenker dabei mindestens 65 mm (2,5”) in die Lenkstange eingeführt wurde. Ziehen Sie Schraube und Mutter am Lenker fest an. Es ist sehr wichtig, verschlissene oder beschädigte Lenkergriffe zu ersetzen. 78141 GERMAN / DEUTSCH • Wenn der Roller in einer Wohnung verwendet wird, sollte dies entfernt von gefährlichen Bereichen wie Küchen, Treppen, Terrassenfenster etc. geschehen. • Vermeiden Sie Kanten und Unebenheiten, Entwässerungsroste und plötzliche Veränderungen der Oberfläche. Der Roller kann plötzlich stoppen. • Vermeiden Sie Straßen und Flächen mit Wasser, Sand, Kies, Schmutz, Laub und anderem Schmutz. • Feuchte Witterung beeinträchtigt Sehvermögen, Bremsen und Sichtbarkeit. • Nicht in der Nacht oder bei schlechten Sichtverhältnissen fahren. • Vermeiden Sie übermäßige Geschwindigkeiten, welche mit Abfahrten verbunden sein können. • Unternehmen Sie keine akrobatischen Darbietungen und benutzen Sie immer beide Hände. Es ist sehr wichtig, dass der Fahrer immer in Fahrtrichtung schaut und aufpasst, um andere Personen und unerwartete Hindernisse zu umfahren. • Verwenden Sie den Roller nicht nach dem Konsum von Alkohol oder Drogen. • Erlauben Sie dem Benutzer nie irgendwelche Teile des Rollers in den Mund zu nehmen und vermeiden Sie Körperkontakt mit den beweglichen, Teilen. Soyez conscient des dangers potentiels de l’utilisation de la trottinette sur les routes publiques. • La trottinette ne doit pas être utilisée sur des pentes fortes, des collines, des routes, ni dans les endroits où des véhicules ou des animaux sont présents ou ont accès. Respectez toutes les lois et réglementations locales concernant la circulation routière et l’utilisation des trottinettes. Faites attention aux passants. • Utilisez la trottinette sur des surfaces pavées et lisses, à l’écart des véhicules à moteur. La trottinette ne doit être utilisée que sur des surfaces planes et exemptes d’obstacles, par exemple de la moquette, du carrelage, du bitume, du béton ou de la pelouse. • Évitez les bosses hautes, les grilles de drainage et les changements brusques de la surface du sol. La trottinette peut s’arrêter brusquement. • Évitez les rues et les surfaces où il y a de l’eau, du sable, du gravier, de la terre, des feuilles ou d’autres débris. • Lors de l’utilisation dans et près d’une zone d’habitation, la trottinette doit rester éloignée des zones dangereuses, par exemple des cuisines, des escaliers, des fenêtres de patio, etc. • S’il pleut, cela réduit la traction, le freinage et la visibilité. • N’utilisez pas la trottinette la nuit ou quand la visibilité est mauvaise. • Ne roulez pas à des vitesses excessives dans les pentes. • N’effectuez pas d’acrobatie et tenez toujours la trottinette à deux mains. USARE IL MONOPATTINO Verificare che il bambino sia posizionato comodamente sul monopattino completamente montato e ispezionato. Mostrare al bambino come sterzare finché non padroneggia il funzionamento e l’uso del manubrio e del gruppo sterzo. Mostrare come fermare il monopattino in sicurezza. Il tempo necessario affinché il bambino raggiunga la padronanza e la coordinazione di ogni operazione può variare considerevolmente. Il bambino potrà usare il monopattino senza assistenza, ma sempre supervisionato, quando ha raggiunto un livello in cui è capace di mantenere in equilibro il monopattino. MANUTENZIONE Ispezionare di frequente l’apparecchio per verificare che tutti i dadi, bulloni e fissaggi siano serrati correttamente e che non ci siano parti usurate o danneggiate. Periodicamente, lubrificare leggermente le parti mobili, ad esempio l’asse anteriore, l’asse posteriore e le boccole del manubrio. Manubrio: regolarlo affinché sia adatto e comodo per il bambino. Verificare di aver inserito almeno 65 mm (2,5”) nel tubo sterzo. Fissare saldamente il dado e la vite. È fondamentale sostituire le manopole del manubrio quando sono usurate o danneggiate. -

78141 ITALIAN / ITALIANO • Non utilizzare il prodotto su pendenze, salite ripide, strade o luoghi dove sono presenti automobili o animali. Rispettare tutte le norme, le leggi e i regolamenti vigenti. Fare attenzione ai pedoni. • Non utilizzare il monopattino su strade accidentate o aperte al traffico veicolare. Il monopattino deve essere usato esclusivamente su superfici prive di ostacoli, lisce e piane, ad esempio moquette, piastrelle, tarmac, cemento o prato. • Evitare le cunette, i tombini e le superfici irregolari. Il monopattino potrebbe arrestarsi all’improvviso. • Evitare le superfici e le strade con acqua, sabbia, ghiaia, sporcizia, foglie e altri detriti. • Se utilizzato all’interno o vicino ad edifici, tenere il prodotto lontano da aree pericolose come cucine, scale, porte finestre, ecc. • Il maltempo riduce la trazione, la capacità di frenata e la visibilità. • Non utilizzare il prodotto di notte o in condizioni di scarsa visibilità. • Non raggiungere una velocità eccessiva in discesa. • Non fare acrobazie e utilizzare sempre entrambe le mani. L’utente deve sempre guardare nella direzione di marcia del monopattino facendo attenzione agli altri bambini e agli ostacoli imprevisti. • Non utilizzare il prodotto dopo avere assunto alcool o droghe. • Controllare che il bambino non metta in bocca parti del prodotto o non tenti di inserire parti del corpo od oggetti tra le parti mobili del monopattino. Istruire il bambino sull’uso corretto del prodotto. • Rimuovere i bordi taglienti quando si utilizza il prodotto. • Leggere con attenzione tutte le istruzioni di questo manuale. PULIZIA Pulire il prodotto con un panno umido per rimuovere la polvere e la sporcizia. Non utilizzare detergenti o solventi industriali perché potrebbero danneggiare le superfici. Non utilizzare alcool o detergenti a base di alcool o ammoniaca perché potrebbero danneggiare o sciogliere i componenti in plastica oppure causare il distacco degli adesivi.
