4.5 Automatic start/Control channel
As soon as the motion detector (3) has recognized a
movement, it switches on the camera and the inte-
grated transmitter. The tracking time, i. e. the time for
which the camera is to remain switched on after the
last recognized movement, can be adjusted with the
control (5) between approx. 2 seconds and 5 minutes.
As long as the camera is switched on via the
motion detector, the control channel emits a control
signal. If the receiver is also provided with a control
channel, it is possible to activate an acoustic or opti-
cal signal device or another additional unit (e. g. video
recorder for automatic start of a recording) via this
channel.
