5.3 Preparing the installation area

A floor with the following characteristics meets the loads transferred by the lift.
The minimum characteristics of the floor must be:
• Concrete used: class Rbk 250 or higher
• Minimum thickness of the floor, net of any floor and relevant laying pad: 15 cm
• Upper and lower shielding made of electrically welded mesh Ø4 x 150 mm or similar, with mesh no greater
than 250 mm. Bar cover no greater than 25 mm
• Ground load-bearing capacity no lower than 1.3 kg/cm
These characteristics must be ensured over a minimum area of 4.00x1.50 m, for each pair of columns, which must not
have any expansion joints or cuts breaking the continuity of the upper mesh.
If there are doubts about the effective consistency of the floor, we recommend contacting a qualified technician.
