11 | PIR function in the SYSTEMLED EVO PIR system light
The SYSTEMLED EVO PIR light is equipped with a switchable PIR module (passive infrared sensors). This allows the
activation time to be limited via timer control, even while the light is already on.
Additionally, the sensitivity area for motion detection can be individually adjusted to control reactivation precisely.
PIR sensors and sensor cover
Time setting to limit activation when no motion is detected benath the light.
Four fixed time settings are available, which can be selected using a locking slide switch:
1 5 minutes
2 10 minutes
3 15 minutes
4 30 minutes
If the PIR sensors do not detect any movement after the set time has elapsed, the luminaire dims
the brightness to the minimum level for 30 seconds and then switches to standby mode.
It remains in standby until the PIR sensors detect movement again, causing the luminaire to switch
on. The set time cycle then restarts from that moment.

The PIR function of the SYSTEMLED EVO PIR is controlled via a locking slide switch with four fixed
positions:
1 OFF-PIR: The PIR module is deactivated. The switched-on luminaire remains permanently on.
2 LOW: Low sensitivity
3 MEDIUM: Medium sensitivity
4 HIGH: High sensitivity

The PIR module controls only the light in which it is installed. Lights connected in series
are not switched by the PIR module.
The function of the PIR module is temperature-dependent.
A consistent ambient temperature is recommended for reliable operation. If the tempera-
ture difference between the environment and a person is small, motion detection may be
limited.
Heat sources nearby, such as heating vents, air-conditioning units or heat-emitting lamps,
can affect the function of the PIR sensors!
