The supply cable has to be replaced by an authorised Fakir After-Sales-Service only.
Caution, never put appliance close to the bathtub, shower or washbasin. Observe
safety area as per Assoc. of German Elec. Eng. specification VDE 0100 part 701 or
equivalent.
Heater to be erected so that there is a clearence of 50 cm between the top grill and
other item of furniture or fitting. Always position the appliance so that it cannot igni-
te items that can burn.
Appliance must not be covered with towels, curtains or similar items because cove-
ring up might cause overheating. Nothing must hinder inflow of fresh air or outflow
of heated air.
Do not store the appliance in the open air.
Do not exposure the machine to weather, humidity nor excessive heat.
Clean the appliance only with a dry or slightly moist cloth. Do not allow any of the
electrical components (switches, plug, etc.) to come into contact with water.
Disposal instructions
Please dispose of packaging materials, used filters and, eventually, the appliance
itself in accordance with any official regulations or guidelines which may apply.
If facilities are available in your locality for the recycling of packaging materials, plea-
se make use o()f these accordingly.
When finally disposing of the appliance itself, please render it unserviceabie before
taking it to the authorised place of disposal.
The utilized special oil is without harmful substances like FCKW and PCB, since it is
a first raffinate. When scrapping the appliance the oil has to be disposed. As a waste
oil of the category I this oil has to be disposed at a central depot for waste oil.
