Oktiv App – Use as a Net Remote
The Majority Rostock radio supports Net Remote functionality, allowing users to
control the device remotely via a smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android). By
downloading the dedicated app OKTIV, you can access and control all available modes
such as Internet Radio, Podcasts, Spotify, DAB, FM, and Bluetooth.
To get started:
Search for OKTIV in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install the app

on your smartphone or tablet.
Ensure that both your radio and mobile device are connected to the same WiFi

network.
Launch the app.

The app will automatically initialise and begin scanning for available devices on

the network.
Tap on your Rostock device once it appears in the app to establish the Net
•
Remote connection.
Once the connection is established, your mobile device will automatically
•
reconnect to the radio the next time you open the app—provided it's on the same
network.
Note: If another smartphone or tablet with the OKTIV app is connected to the same
network and attempts to access the radio, it will override your current connection.
