NOTE
The closed side of the guard (6) must always point towards the operator.
Remove the battery pack before performing any maintenance
Mounting and Disassemble the Guard
To fit the guard (6) for other applications, proceed as follows:
1. Press the unlock button (5)
2. Align the lug (A) of the guard with the slot (B) on the gearbox
3. Place the guard (6) on the spindle collar of gearbox.
4. Push the guard down until the guard lugs engage and rotate them in the grooves on
the gearbox hub then release the unlock button (5).
5. Adjust the guard angle: Press and hold the unlock button (5). Turn the guard
clockwise or counterclockwise to the required working position to ensure that the
convex teeth (C) of the guard need to be flush with the convex teeth (D) on the gear
box.
6. The grinding disc must be able to rotate freely within the guard (6).
7. To remove the guard, perform steps 1-3 in these instructions in reverse order.
