To ensure a long appliance life, it is essential to keep the appliance clean. Therefore, clean the
appliance regularly and remove any food residue from the cooking chamber after each use.
Failure to keep the appliance clean can cause serious damage, which can significantly reduce
the appliance's lifespan and possibly even lead to dangerous situations.
- Before cleaning, switch off the device, allow it to cool down sufficiently and unplug it.
– WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Never immerse the device, power cord, or
plug in water or any other liquid. Do not allow water to enter the ventilation
openings inside or outside the device.
- Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning.
- Clean the cooking compartment after each use. The inside of the door and the door frame
must always be kept clean. If they are dirty, microwave radiation could escape.
- The turntable, the rotating ring and the running surface under the glass turntable must always
be clean.
- To clean the entire device, use a slightly damp, soft cloth with a little dish soap. Then, wipe dry
with a soft cloth.
- Unpleasant odors in the appliance can be eliminated by heating a cup of lemon juice for about
5 minutes. Wipe the released steam dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not use harsh, aggressive, corrosive, alcohol- or petrol-based, or highly flammable cleaning
agents for cleaning, and avoid very hot water.
- Do not use oven cleaning sprays.
