Please note:
-
The device is equipped with a short power cord to prevent entanglement or tripping over the
cord.
We do not recommend using this device with extension cords or multiple sockets. If this is
-
unavoidable, always ensure that the cord used is a 3-wire, earthed cord that complies with
applicable safety regulations and has the necessary approval marks.
-
Long cables can become tripping hazards and a danger to children, so they should be avoided.
Basic information about cooking with microwaves
Function of the microwave (Group II according to EN 55011):
The appliance generates electromagnetic waves that cause the molecules in the food to vibrate
strongly. These vibrations generate heat. Foods with a high liquid content therefore heat up more
quickly than relatively dry foods. The heating occurs particularly gently directly within the food. The
cookware is heated only indirectly by the food.
Never operate the device without contents. This could cause damage to the device.
-
-
Do not use the device without the rotating ring and glass plate.
When heating beverages in a microwave, the boiling point may be delayed. The usual vapor
-
bubbles do not appear, even though the boiling point has already been reached. Therefore,
special care should be taken when handling the container, for example, when removing it from
the microwave.
This boiling delay can be reduced by placing a temperature-resistant glass rod into the liquid
during heating.
-
Do not attempt to deep fry food in the microwave, as hot oil may damage the microwave and
cause burns.
-
Raw eggs with shells or whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens
because they may burst even after microwave heating has finished.
WARNING! Liquids or other foods must not be heated in sealed containers, as they
-
may burst easily.
The contents of baby bottles and jars of infant formula must be shaken or stirred to ensure
-
even temperature distribution. The temperature must then be checked before consumption to
avoid burns!
When heating or cooking food in flammable materials, such as plastic or paper containers,
-
there is a risk of the material catching fire. Likewise, food can dry out and catch fire if the
appliance is left on for too long. Fats or oils can also ignite. Therefore, the appliance must be
constantly monitored while switched on. Flammable liquids, such as concentrated alcohol, must
not be heated.
-
Never block the appliance door with objects and make sure that the door seal is not damaged
or contaminated with food residue.
If the door seal is damaged, the appliance must not be operated.
-
-
Never attempt to operate the appliance with the door open. Microwave radiation may escape.
-
If smoke is detected, keep the door closed to extinguish any flames. Immediately turn off the
appliance and unplug it.
