Cutlery or metal containers must therefore not be used in the microwave. Some packaging
contains, for example, aluminum foil or wires under a layer of paper and is therefore also
unsuitable. Crockery must not have any metal decorations, such as gold rims or metallic paints.
Lead crystal is also unsuitable. There must be no closed cavities in the crockery, for example in
the handles. Porous crockery may absorb water during washing and is therefore unsuitable.
Crockery made of the plastic melamine absorbs energy and is unsuitable.
