Tracking Wires
1. Only trace non-energized wires.
2. Don't touch any live conductor with hand or skin to
avoid electric shock.
3. Always disconnect power to the circuit to be traced
before using the Wire Tracker.
This instrument offers two modes for wire tracking: digital wire tracking
mode and analog wire tracking mode.
1. Digital wire tracking mode uses high-frequency signals for line
search, offering good penetration and minimal signal attenuation.
It is primarily used for detecting underground or in-wall wires and
is less susceptible to interference.
2. Analog wire tracking mode uses low-frequency signals for line
search, providing a wider signal frequency reception range but less
penetration. It is mainly used for surface or overhead wire detection.

Operation method:

1. As shown in Figure 3, connect the red alligator clip of the transmitter
to the wire to be traced and the black alligator clip to the ground
(such as using the grounding nail accessory).
