To avoid and prevent electric shock, burn or personal injury, please
read this manual carefully.
To avoid electric shock, do not touch any naked conductor with hand
or skin; and do not ground yourself while using the instrument.
Keep this instrument dry. Do not use this instrument in rain.
Do not use the instrument if it is damaged or operates abnormally.
Inspect the test leads for damaged insulation or exposed metal. If
a test lead is damaged, replace it with a new one of the same ratings
before use.
Do not use this instrument to detect the energized wires.
Before opening the transmitter's or receiver's battery compartment,
turn off the transmitter or receiver and disconnect the connecting
leads from any wire, cable or conductor.
Never connect the transmitter to any live wire/ cable/ conductor.
The instrument dose not have any user-serviceable electronic
component. Do not attempt to service the instrument.
Do not touch any line known to be or suspected of carrying
electrical power.
Do not operate the instrument where explosive gas, vapor or dust
is present.
Use caution when working with voltage above 30V ac rms, 42V ac
peak, or 60V dc. Such voltages pose a shock hazard.
Adhere to local and national safety codes. Individual protective
equipment must be used to prevent shock and arc blast injury where
hazardous live conductors are exposed.
Caution should always be used when nailing, digging, or drilling in
an area where there may be buried pipe or cable.
Before working near an electrical wire, turn off the wire's power first.
To avoid interference, do not use the instrument where there is an
intense environmental electromagnetic field; otherwise the detection
or measurement result may be wrong.
