Description
The 1X-F Panel Cover with Access Key is designed for use
with compatible Aritech control panels. The key function
changes the access level from level 1 to level 2 without the
need to enter a password.
Installation
To install the panel cover:
1.
Remove the existing panel cover, saving the two screws
from the top.
2.
Connect the key cable to the key connector on the PCB,
as shown in Figure 1.
3.
Insert the plastic base tab of the panel cover underneath
the control panel and secure it into place.
4.
Insert the two plastic tabs at the top of the panel and press
in until they click into place.
5.
Secure the panel cover using two screws (previously
saved) at the top.

Key operation
To enable access level 2, insert the key into the keyhole
(Figure 2, item 1) and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise. The
panel beeps and turns on the Reset LED to confirm you are in
access level 2. To return the control panel to access level 1,
rotate the key 90 degrees anticlockwise and remove. The
Reset LED turns off.
Note:
The tasks you can perform at access level 2 are detailed
in the control panel user documentation.
