Mounting Instructions Aritech ACA 000 Rain protection hood

Safety instructions
Always observe the safety regulations applicable in your country.
Read the following safety instructions before attempting to install the
product.
Before disassembling the product, disconnect the power supply unit
from the controller.
When the cover has been removed, never connect the power supply
unit to the mains. Only connect when all installation procedures have
been completed.
Never cover the power supply unit as this may cause it to overheat.
When installing, do not force any parts or screws.
Checking the package contents
The package contains:
1 ACA 000 Rain protection hood
1 Mounting instructions sheet
Siting the hood (Fig. 1)
For outdoor use of readers, the rain protection hood can be mounted
above the reader. The figure shows the optimum distance between
reader and hood to give good protection while still allowing the user to
easily swipe his card through the reader.
Mounting instructions
- Determine the optimum mounting location.
- Mark the screw hole locations (fig. 1.01) on the wall.
- Fasten the rain protection hood to the wall.

Directives de sécurité
Observez toujours les règlements de sécurité en vigueur dans votre
pays. Lisez les directives de sécurité suivantes avant d'entreprendre
l'installation du produit.
Avant de démonter le produit, débranchez du contrôleur le bloc
d'alimentation électrique.
Ne branchez jamais le bloc d'alimentation électrique si le couvercle a
été retiré. Branchez uniquement si toutes les procédures
d'installation ont été effectuées.
Ne jamais couvrir le bloc d'alimentation électrique car il risque de
surchauffer.
Lors de l'installation, ne forcez aucune pièce ou vis.

1 Fiche d'instructions de montage
Installation de la casquette (Fig. 1)
En cas d'utilisation des lecteurs à l'extérieur, la casquette de protection
contre la pluie peut être montée au-dessus du lecteur. La figure indique
la distance optimale entre le lecteur et la casquette afin d'obtenir une
protection correcte tout en permettant à l'utilisateur de glisser aisément
sa carte dans le lecteur.
Instructions de montage
- Déterminez la position optimale de montage.
- Marquez les emplacements de trous de vis (fig. 1.01) sur le mur.
- Fixez la casquette de protection contre la pluie au mur.

Schakel de netspanning uit en verbreek de accuverbinding met de
controller voordat u de installatie wijzigt.
Schakel de netspanning niet in wanneer het deksel is verwijderd.
Schakel de netspanning pas in wanneer alle installatieprocedures
zijn uitgevoerd.
Dek de voedingseenheid niet af. Dit kan tot oververhitting leiden.
Zorg ervoor dat u bij het installeren geen onderdelen of schroeven
forceert.

De regenkap plaatsen (fig. 1)
Als lezers buitenshuis worden geplaatst, kan een regenkap boven de
lezer worden gemonteerd. De figuur toont de optimale afstand tussen
de lezer en de kap waarop de kap de juiste bescherming biedt en de
gebruiker nog steeds zijn kaart gemakkelijk door de lezer kan halen.
Montagevoorschriften
- Bepaal de optimale bevestigingsplaats.
- Markeer de posities voor de schroefgaten (fig. 1.01) op de muur.
- Bevestig de regenkap op de muur.

Sicherheitsvorschriften
Beachten Sie immer die in Ihrem Land gültigen
Sicherheitsvorschriften. Lesen Sie die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise, bevor Sie versuchen, das Produkt zu
installieren.
Unterbrechen Sie vor dem Demontieren des Produktes die
Stromversorgung des Controllers.
Schließen Sie die Stromversorgungseinheit niemals an das Netz an,
wenn die Abdeckung entfernt ist. Der Netzanschluß darf nur dann
erfolgen, wenn alle Installationsverfahren vollständig durchgeführt
worden sind.
Bedecken Sie niemals die Stromversorgungseinheit, da dies zu einer
Überhitzung führen kann.
Wenden Sie beim Installieren keine übermäßige Gewalt an. Eine
Überbeanspruchung der Teile oder Schrauben ist nicht zulässig.
Überprüfen des Inhaltes der Verpackung

Installieren des Regenschutzes (Abb. 1)
Beim Installieren des Lesers im Freien kann der Regenschutz über dem
Leser montiert werden. Die Abbildung zeigt den optimalen Abstand
zwischen dem Leser und dem Regenschutz, wobei ein guter Schutz
gewährleistet ist und der Benutzer die Karte einfach durch den Schlitz
ziehen kann.
Montageanweisungen
- Bestimmen Sie die optimale Montageposition.
- Markieren Sie die Schraublochpositionen (Abb. 1.01) auf der Wand.
- Befestigen Sie den Regenschutz an der Wand.
