Turn the machine off when performing maintenance on the machine and
separate it from the power supply. Electrical work on the machine must only
be performed by a skilled electrician.
1. Make sure to please check the carbon brushes and commutator in regular intervals. When
the coal stone is worn down to a length of 7mm, it must be replaced.
2. Please use only the original replacement parts, because if not damage could occur to the
commutator.
3. Both carbon brushes must be replaced at the same time
4. While using the machine if sparks should appear in the engine area, please check the
commutator immediately and replace it for a new one if necessary.
Note: The Boring Machine should be checked and maintenance performed in regular intervals.
SPECIAL ATTENTION APPLIES TO:
Checking the cable, the grounding wire, the on/off switch, the engine insulation, the stator and
rotor safety, the screws, and replacing the gear oil & worn parts.
1. Replace the rubber ring from time to time
2. If water has gotten in the upper part of the boring machine, replace the gasket ring
immediately.
3. The gears in the gear box can be treated with gear oil.
4. If it seen that the gear oil is coming out of the ventilation vents, replace the rubber gasket
ring of the rotor spindle.
CARE/STORAGE
1. When not in use, keep the boring machine clean and store when dry.
2. To clean, take apart the machine into its individual components.
3. For the main drive shaft and its parts, use grease.
