Note: Do not hit the drill bit with a hard object (deformity hazard)!
Overloaded coupling
1.
If the bit sticks or hooks, the power to the drill spindle will be interrupted.
Overloading
1. If the speed of the motor slows, this means that the boring machine is overloaded. Should
this happen, the pressure must be reduced, so that the rpms (rotary speed) can again fit the
operation. If the borer is smoking turn it off immediately, to prevent that the motor from
being overloaded and the wire coil burning through.
2. Make sure that during use that the ventilation vents on the engine casing are neither clogged
nor obstructed with dirt.
Boring
Caution: Working without water is prohibited
1. While boring, water must flow over the surface of the drill bit to cool it and wash away dirt.
One should pay close attention that neither the drill bit nor the O-ring become soiled.
2. Keep the engine casing away from the water.
3. The boring machine should be held at a 90-degree angle to the working surface.
