For all work involving the machine, turn the machine off and separate it from
the main power. Any electrical work on the machine is only allowed to be
performed by a skilled electrician.
The following preparations must be meet before using the boring machine:
Installing the boring machine
1. The two M12-screws, that attach the foot of the machine to the square tube, must be removed
with a 19mm wrench, then separate the foot of the machine from the square tube.
2. Turn the foot of the machine 180o and guide the square tube back into the provided opening
on the foot.
3. Screw them both together, using the previously removed two M12-screws. Tighten them with
the help of a 19mm wrench.
Installing the drill bit
Assemble the drill bit carefully, so that the end of the threading with the end of the stud axle
fits together. Next, lubricate the threading with grease. After the drill bit has been tightened,
allow the boring machine to run idly and make sure that the drill bit is rotating.
Water supply / Water pipe connection
1. Connect the water supply to the water connection port on the boring machine and check,
before use, all connections for leakage and tightness.
2. Firstly open the valve of the water supply and then the valve of the boring machine connection.
Water should now be flowing over the drill bit. If this is not the case, check the leads and
connections. If the water feed is performing correctly, then drilling can begin.
3. Connected hoses, shut-off valves, or accessories, must not obstruct the drilling process.
Warning:
1. Check the drill bit. before use, for damages. If the drill bit is deformed or damaged, it
should not be used.
2. Use only drill bits that were designed for this machine. The use of non-fitting drill bits or
cutting tools, can lead to serious injury or loss of control of the machine.
