9. Setting up / wall mounting

Avoid places where shocks, vibrations, dust, heat, cold and moisture occur. In addition, no powerful
transformers or motors should be used close to the device.
Do not cover the product with a tablecloth or similar objects. This could cause the product to heat up
strongly during operation. This constitutes a fire hazard!
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Maintain a sufficient distance to other devices and walls. Do not
place the product in the direct proximity of heat sources. This may cause the product to overheat! This
constitutes a fire hazard!
Make sure that the power cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
The soundbar may either be set up on a TV cabinet (option A) or mounted to a wall (option B).
Place the subwoofer on a level and horizontal surface with a maximum distance from the soundbar of 6 meters.
Notes on wall mounting
Plan the mounting site carefully, so that the soundbar is located at the desired location (height and position)
after the installation is complete.
Make sure that the mounting site is sufficiently stable and firm to support the product.
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged when drilling mounting holes
or securing screws.
Do not overtighten the screws. This may damage the threads and reduce the strength of the fitting.
Look after your own safety when using electric tools (e.g. a drill). Refer to the safety information in the
corresponding instructions.
Do not drill or screw additional screws into the casing in order to secure the device. This may expose you
to a dangerously high voltage when the device is touched.
