The unit is delivered pressurised with
nitrogen. Release the pressure before

starting any handling or installation
operations.

To ensure the unit runs properly, check that it is
positioned as follows:
• On a levelled floor ("Fig. 8").
• Away from heat sources and from risks of
fire ("Fig. 9").

Choose an installation site for the unit
that prevents air moisture condensation
at all times.

We recommend installing the unit in a

is to be installed are listed in

Electrical connection

The unit is powered by 230V/1ph/50-60Hz.
The electrical diagram of the unit is shown in
"Electrical connection" ("Fig. 10").

Refrigeration connection

The
refrigeration
connection between the unit and the liquid
receiver is shown in "General description" ("Fig.
12").
If delivered REMOTE, the unit must be connected
to the system.
The two flexible hoses DN4 and DN8 are 2m
long, and are supplied TOGETHER with the unit
("Fig. 13").
To install the unit correctly, connect ("Fig. 5"):
• the end of the flexible hose DN4 labelled
"PLUG TO BE CONNECTED TO DISCHARGE
BK UNIT ONLY 1/4" SAE" to the liquid
receiver, using the cone-shaped Cu gasket
• the other end of the flexible hose DN4 to
the discharge line towards the liquid
receiver on the unit (1/4" SAE male)
• the end of the flexible hose DN8 labelled
"PLUG TO BE CONNECTED TO SUCTION
BK UNIT ONLY 3/8" SAE" to the liquid
receiver, using the cone-shaped Cu gasket
• the other end of the hose DN8 to the
suction line from the liquid receiver on the
unit (3/8" SAE male)
• open all valves upstream of the hoses
• open all valves downstream of the hoses
• evacuate any nitrogen released from the
unit into the liquid receiver using a vacuum
pump

flexible hoses longer than 2m, please
contact the technical department in
advance.
