6. PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS

For your safety, please observe the
following:
- Do not install the sensor in one of
the places to avoid (see §3)
- Do not paint, cover, disassemble,
modify or damage the sensor
- The sensor must remain
permanently installed
- The manufacturer recommends
annual maintenance of the sensors
- It is recommended to install one
sensor per room and per 100 m2 for
an optimal measurement of CO2
- The product must be put into
service within a maximum of 5
years after the manufacturing date
(indicated on the back of the product)
- The user should maintain a radio
frequency exposure distance of 20
centimetres
Disposal of a battery into fire or hot
oven, or mechanically crushing or
cutting of a battery, that can result in
an explosion.
The sensor incorporates a changeable
battery with a 3 year life designed to:
- provide CO2 detection for 3 years
- perform CO2, temperature and
humidity measurements every 5
minutes
Some conditions may damage the
sensor, reduce
or battery life and thus reduce the
expected 3-year battery life:
- Exposure to temperatures or
humidity different from normal
operating conditions (see §1)
- Fouling from dust, particles, insects,
spider webs, etc.
- Use of a battery not recommended
(see §2)
