WARNINGS

Before use, read this manual and get familiar with the system
I
Always wear protective clothing and gloves and safety glasses while operating or repairing the foam unit.
I
Avoid contact of chemical with skin and eyes. If contact occurs, see MSDS sheet for further first aid
measures

Follow safety instructions of chemicals manufacturer (MSDS)
I
Never point the foam lance at anyone
I
Incoming air pressure cannot exceed 5.5 bar (5.6 kgf / cm² or 80 psi)
I
After each use, relieve all remaining pressure in the system by unplugging the air line from the unit
and opening the discharge ball valve to prevent accidental discharge
I
After relieving the pressure from the unit, store the unit with the ball valve in the closed position
I
Be sure to flush the unit with fresh water when switching from an alkaline to an acid or an acid to an
alkaline
I
Do not exceed the temperature of 37 °C (100°F) for the fluids
I
Only use clean and dry air, it must be filtered and free of moisture or pump life can be reduced. If
necessary, install an air dryer before unit
I
Do not use air lubricator before the unit
I
Make sure proper foaming chemical and concentration is being used

Chemical compatibility can be guaranteed only with a phisical test, here are some tips on which
chemicals to use:
•
Alkaline detergent, can be used
•
Caustic cleaner, can be used
•
Acid detergent, can be used
•
Chlorine may only be used with Viton pump
•
D-Limonene cannot be used
DO NOT USE: hydrocarbons!
