set the unit in recording mode.
2. Connecta dual -traceoscilloscope to each test point

in table.

portion and the sync tip portion are specifiedas shown
in Figure 5-5.

OUT jack and connect an oscilloscopeacross this
terminating resistor.

the unit in recording mode.
4. Playthecolour bar portionof the recordedtape.
5. Makesurethattheoutputsignal a mplitude is 1.0Vp-p as
shown in Figure 5-6.
Note:
O Ifthe75ohm terminating resistor ismissing, thesignal
amplitude will be doubled.
@Set the S.PICTURE switch turn off.

Press the S.PICTURE
"S.PICTUREON (or OFF)" will appear on the TV screen
for a few seconds.
Each time the button is pressed, the mode switches
between
ON and OFF.
ON:
Normally leave the mode set to ON.
This high picture quality function will create a clearer
image during playback.

Set to OFF when playing back a tape on the VCR while
editing or when strong noise appears on the screen.
