Is the supply voltage of 5V fed to
pin (1) of MC connector?

Is 2.5V applied at pin (4) of MC
connector?
YES
Is the voltage more than 2.6V DC
sent in pin (5) of MC connector?
YES
Is the voltage of pin (6) of MC
connector I .6—2.7V?
YES
Is the supply voltage of 12V/18V
fed to pin (7) of MC connector?
YES
Replace capstan motor.

Check PC 5V line.

and all the way up to the 2.5V line.
