3.1 Wiring the PC
Lay the cables so that they cannot be stepped on or tripped over and do not place
any objects on the cables. Please wire your PC when it is switched off. Only some
devices can be wired when they are switched on, for example USB and Firewire
(IEEE1394) devices.
Please refer to the instructions for the peripheral devices.
Please note: Initial setup is not possible with Bluetooth input devices. Please use a
USB keyboard/mouse for this and only use your Bluetooth devices once the Mini
PC has been set up.

5 Safety instructions
Please observe the following precautionary measures to ensure your own safety
and the operational safety of the PC:
• As soon as the PC is not used for a longer period of time, switch it off.
• Do not use the PC during a thunderstorm to avoid the risk of electric
shock.
• Do not insert any objects into the openings of the housing.
• Do not allow any liquid to get on or into the PC.
• Clean the PC with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth. Do not use any liquid
cleaning agents. These may contain flammable substances.
• Do not place the PC near heaters or other heat sources. Do not block the
ventilation openings!
• Do not place the PC in a cupboard, shelf or similar.
• Do not use the PC if housing parts have been removed.
• Static electricity can damage the sensitive components of the PC. To avoid
this, static electricity must be dissipated from your body. To do this, sim-
ply touch a metal surface before touching any components in the system.
