6. Maintenance
Check the detector weekly by pressing the 'SILENCE/TEST' key once the detector is installed and
put in use; Do inspection in time or return it for factory repair if any malfunction is checked.
The battery comes with a lifespan of 3 years under normal circumstance, which could be
shortened in tough environments like high temperature and high humidity.
Make sure the detector works well before installation. Keep it well and take precautions like
anti-dust, anti-moist and ant-corrosion before installation.
Replace the battery with a new one with the same parameters upon the alert of low voltage
from the detector.

8. Battery Replacement Guide
1. Rotate the bottom mounting bracket counterclockwise and remove it. See figure 1.
2. Remove the battery buckle and battery from the battery groove by hand, as shown in figure 2.
3. Remove the battery from the battery buckle and replace it with a new one (see figure3);
4. Install the battery and battery buckle into the battery groove, and install the alarm on the
bracket;
5. Long press the test button. If the device makes a beep, beep, beep sound accompanied by LED
flashing, it means that the product works normally after replacing the battery.
6. If you press the test button for a long time and there is no response from the equipment,
please first confirm whether the battery is installed in place. If the battery is installed in place,
please contact relevant professional staff for maintenance.
7. batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine.
