These juices are collected in the collection tray, which must be emptied and washed after each
use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always clean the appliance after use to prevent accumulation and food and fat residues from
baking onto the surface.
• It is recommended that all food residues be removed with a wooden or thermoplastic
spatulawhile the appliance is still hot. If the residues dry up, they will be harder to remove.
• After use, turn the thermostat to the "OFF" position. Remove the mains plug from the wall
socket and wait until the appliance has cooled down completely. Disconnect the adjustable
thermostat from the appliance.
• Remove the grease collection tray. Clean it in hot water using a mild detergent. Rinse and dry.
The grease collection tray is dishwasher safe.
• Wipe the grill plate with a soft damp cloth to remove food residues. Then wash the grill plate
with a soft sponge or nylon brush and mild detergent. Rinse gently and dry carefully.
• Wipe the adjustable thermostat, the outside of the appliance and clean the gutter around the
grill plate carefully with a soft, damp cloth.
• After cleaning, store the device in a dry and clean place.

• Make sure the adjustable thermostat is
connected properly to its connector on the
appliance.
• Check that the plug is in the socket and
that a fuse in your fuse box has not been
tripped.
• Make sure the thermostat is not set to
'OFF' but the desired temperature is
selected.
• The selected temperature is not high
enough for the food. Adjust the
thermostat.

the food. Adjust the thermostat.
