BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
• Clean the non-stick surface of the grill plate using a soft sponge with warm water and a mild
detergent. Then wipe with a cloth with clean warm water and dry well with a soft cloth.
• Rinse the collection tray under running water and dry it.
• Wipe the outside of the appliance clean with a soft cloth.
• Make sure the grill plate, thermostat and all parts are completely dry before use.
• Never submerge the appliance, the electric cord or the plug into water or another liquid.
• Do not use chemicals, abrasives or steel wool to clean the non-stick plate or other parts of the
appliance.
• When using the appliance for the first time there may be a slight smell and light smoke from
the baking plates. This is normal.
