• Never leave the appliance switched on when the grill plate is
empty, except during the warm-up period.
• Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely
before cleaning and storing it.
• Before unplugging the appliance from the power, make sure the
thermostat is switched off (thermostat knob set to 'OFF').
• Do not use this appliance with charcoal or similar flammable
fuels.
• Never use this device as a heating element.
• Take care with the hot griddle, splashing grease and steam
escaping alongside the appliance to avoid injury, burns, or fire.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
• Clean the non-stick surface of the grill plate using a soft sponge with warm water and a mild
detergent. Then wipe with a cloth with clean warm water and dry well with a soft cloth.
• Rinse the collection tray under running water and dry it.
• Wipe the outside of the appliance clean with a soft cloth.
• Make sure the grill plate, thermostat and all parts are completely dry before use.
• Never submerge the appliance, the electric cord or the plug into water or another liquid.
• Do not use chemicals, abrasives or steel wool to clean the non-stick plate or other parts of the
appliance.
• When using the appliance for the first time there may be a slight smell and light smoke from
the baking plates. This is normal.
