Stimulation
This function enables you to send your dog a warning in the form of an electronic stimulation
impulse transmitted by two contact points located in the receiving collar. Purpose of the
stimulation is not to hurt the dog. Impulse is very uncomfortable for dog, and the dog makes
very soon a link between the command, beep tone and the uncomfortable feeling on the neck.
Eventually you will only need minimum number of the stimulation impulses because your dog
will connect them very quickly with disobeying your commands. During the pressing of the
stimulation button the red indicator light on the receiver will be ON. The length of stimulation
impulse is limited to a maximum of 8 seconds even when button is pressed for long period.
The choice of stimulation level:
It is important to choose correctly the stimulation level for your dog, that is why it is finely
adjustable in 30 levels. Each dog has different sensitivity, the right stimulation level can´t be set
by guess. Start from the lowest level. When your dog doesn't react to the low level stimulation,
gradually set the level higher, and carry on until you see slight reaction. Stimulation impulse
should never create fear or pain.
The choice of momentary (nick) or continuous stimulation impulse
Stimulation impulse features functions N (NICK) and C (CONTINUE), which are switched by
repetitive press of button
/
for the choice of the dog and can be used for all the levels
of set stimulation.
Continuous impulse – C
When you hold the stimulation button pressed, the stimulation is emitted for whole period of
time, but maximum 8 seconds. Continuous stimulation is to be used as a first step of the training.
For the first time it should be used in the well known area. As the stimulation is longer and
continuous you are better to use lower intensity and rather than the intensity of the impulse use
its length.
Momentary (nick) impulse – N
No matter how long the stimulation button is pressed, the transmitter emits only a momentary
(nick) impulse. This function is used for correction of dog behavior. Nick impulses are normally
used in advanced training, when the dog has been trained with continuous impulses. It is
possible that you will need to use a higher level of stimulation than with continuous impulse.
