Location in the cabinet
Place the DOC Skimmer in such a way that it is
easily accessible. The skimmer cup and the post-
filter have to be easily accessible.
Sufficient free space should be left over the
skimmer (at least 100 mm (3.9 in.) in order to be
able to remove the skimmer cup vertically. This is
necessary as the foam reactor is connected to the
skimmer cup (1).
The DOC Skimmer has to be placed in a zone with
slow moving water. The proximity of a drain outlet or
an air ejector may disturb the formation of foam.
The water level should be harmonised to the
skimmer (2). The water level should not drop below
the minimum mark as otherwise the Hydrofoamer
could be damaged by overheating of the motor or
mechanical damage by dry running, for example.

Placez DOC Skimmer de telle manière à permettre
un bon confort d'utilisation. L'espace au-dessus de
l'écumeur doit être assez dégagé (min. 100mm)
afin de permettre une extraction verticale et facile
du godet d'écumage. Cela est indispensable,
car une partie du réacteur est fixée sur le godet
d'écumage (1).
DOC Skimmer doit être placé dans une zone d'eau
calme. Dans certaines conditions, la présence
immédiate d'une sortie de déversoir ou d'un
diffuseur d'air peut gêner le processus d'écumage.
Le
niveau
d'eau
caractéristiques de l'appareil (2). Le niveau d'eau
minimum ne doit pas être dépassé sous peine
d'endommager
l'Hydrofoamer
du moteur ou dommages mécaniques lors d'un
fonctionnement à sec.
