Collecting a Drop of Blood
STERILE LANCETS
Gluceo ne® lancing device is intended to be used only with sterile lancets Gluceo -
ne® or infopia®. Lancets can be purchased in your pharmacy or with your local distri-
butor.
The Monitoring System comes with an additional clear tip for the Gluceo ne® Lan-
cing Device. It can be used with the lancing device instead of the black tip for collec-
ting blood samples from alternate sites. Please refer to pages 75-77.
STORAGE
Lancing Device and Sterile Lancets must be stored at room temperature protected
from sunlight or moisture.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean and wipe the outside of the lancing device a minimum of once a week with a
soft cloth, dampened with mild soap and water. Wash the adjustable tip and the cle-
ar tip once a week with mild soap. DO NOT immerse in liquid.
WARRANTY
Lancing device has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. A malfunctioning
device should be returned and will be replaced for free in case of warranty claim.
