Collecting a Drop of Blood
1. Unscrew the tip of the
lancing device by turning it
counter-clockwise while
holding the base rmly.

the side of your nger. Press
the release button to take a
sample.
2. With two ngers, pull out
the lancet carrier and hold it in
place.
5. Put the tip of the lancing
device back on and turn it
clockwise. By turning the front
part you can adjust 5
penetration depths.
8. Unscrew the tip of the
lancing device by turning it
counter-clockwise.
3. While holding the lancet
carrier, insert a new sterile
lancet into the bottom of
lancet carrier.
6. Hold the tip rmly in one
hand then pull out the sliding
barrel with the other hand. This
will cock the lancing device.
9. Push the lancet ejector
forward with the thumb and
simultaneously pull out the
sliding barrel to dispose of the
used lancet in a proper
biohazard container.
