2.4 GHz mode

Connect the 2.4 GHz wireless receiver into an available USB or Type-C port on your
device.
•
Move the mode toggle switch on the keyboard to the 2.4GHz setting. The keyboard
will automatically establish a connection with your device, with the backlight turning
on to indicate activation.
Bluetooth mode
•
Toggle the switch to activate Bluetooth mode.
•
The keyboard backlight will illuminate to indicate that Bluetooth mode is active.
•
To pair the device, hold the "fn+1" key combination for 4 seconds. This action initiates
the pairing process, and the Bluetooth indicator will begin flashing rapidly, continuing
for three minutes to facilitate device detection.
On your device, search for the Bluetooth device listed as "Keychron V6 Max" and
•
select it to pair. Successful pairing is confirmed when the Bluetooth indicator light
ceases to flash.
Note:
•
The V6 Max can connect to up to three devices simultaneously. To switch between
connected devices, use the key combinations "fn+1", "fn+2", or "fn+3".
•
If the Bluetooth connection appears slow or unstable, this could be due to
compatibility issues with different Bluetooth versions. Ensure that your device's
Bluetooth settings are correctly configured.
Switching between Bluetooth devices
To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, use the short key press combination of "fn+1",
"fn+2", or "fn+3". This allows quick and easy cycling between up to three devices, enhancing
multitasking capabilities.
Reconnect:
•
Activate the Bluetooth mode by switching the keyboard to the Bluetooth option.
•
The Bluetooth indicator will flash for 3 seconds, indicating the initiation of automatic
pairing with the last connected device.
•
If the Bluetooth indicator is off after the initial flash, any button can be pressed to re-
establish the connection.
Note: The keyboard must have been previously paired with a device to use this

quick reconnect function.
