Keyboard mode is in the Keyboard Emulation Profile that functions and
communicates similar to a keyboard. The reader will work with any browser, text
notes, and all applications that support an active cursor.

1. Power the reader on.
2. Double tap the power button to illuminate the scan engine and, while
illuminated, read the programming barcode below.
3. When the programming barcode is read successfully, the reader will shut down.
4. Power the reader back on – it will announce "Keyboard"
5. Go to Bluetooth settings in your tablet, smartphone, MAC or PC and pair the
S370.
6. Once connected, the S370 will announce "Connected" and the scan engine will
be illuminated. Scanned data will be delivered to the text field with an active
cursor.
Now you are ready to use the SocketScan S370 NFC/Barcode reader!
Note: The S370 can also be configured in a connected state. Simply pair your
reader to one of Socket Mobile's NFC apps then scan the command barcode.
