CONNECTING THE DEVICE

CONNECTING THE IS-RSM3A.1 (wired version)
You can connect the IS-RSM3A.1 to approved i.safe MOBILE GmbH devices with a 16-pin
ISM interface.
DANGER
Improper use poses risk of death or severe injuries!
Only connect the IS-RSM3A.1 outside explosion hazardous areas to the 16-pin
ISM interface.
Make sure that the IS-RSM3A.1 is securely fastened to the 16-pin ISM interface.
Connect the 16-pin ISM connector to the 16-pin ISM interface.
Hand-tighten the screw.
The installation is also described in the operating manuals of the approved
i.safe MOBILE GmbH devices with a 16-pin ISM interface.
CONNECTING THE IS-RSM3B.1 (Bluetooth-version)
You can connect the IS-RSM3B.1 to any Bluetooth devices.
Activate Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device.
In switched-off state press and hold the power key on the IS-RSM3B.1 for about 5 seconds.
The status LED Bluetooth (blue) starts flashing and the IS-RSM3B.1 searches for a Bluetooth
connection.
Search on the Bluetooth device for IS-RSM3B.1 and connect.
The status LED Bluetooth lights up constantly.
NFC PAIRING MODE (ONLY IS-RSM3B.1)
The IS-RSM3B.1 provides a built-in NFC-TAG for „easy pairing" (see device overview).
Activate the „NFC-function" on your mobile device.
In switched-off state press and hold the power key on the IS-RSM3B.1 for about 5 seconds.
Scan the NFC-Tag area with the mobile device and follow the instructions on your mobile
device.
