instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you sell the device, please pass these operating
instructions on to the new owner.

3. Safety Notes
Use the product for its intended purpose only.
Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating, and only use it in a dry environment.
Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in
direct sunlight.
Connect the product only to a socket that has been approved for the device. The electrical
socket must always be easily accessible.
Do not bend or crush the cable.
* Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
* Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged
+ Always pull directly on the plug when disconnecting the cable, never on the cable itself.
* Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations
4. Startup and Operation
Connect the charging cable's Micro USB connector to the terminal device to be charged
4.1 Charging with a mains connection
* Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the USB power supply unit using the USB connector.
* Plug the charger's power supply unit into an approved and easily accessible electrical socket
* When the power supply is active, the status LED lights up in green.
* Disconnect all cable and mains connections after use.
The charger is suitable for a mains voltage of 100-240 V and can be used around the world.
Please note that a country-specific adapter may be necessary. You can find an appropriate
selection of Hama products at www.hama.com.
4.2 Charging with a car charger
* Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the 12 V car charger using the USB connector.
* Plug the car charger's power supply unit into a 12 V car socket in the vehicle electrical system.
* When the power supply is active, the status LED lights up in green.
* Disconnect all cable and mains connections after use.
For some vehicle types, the ignition has to be switched on to supply power to the 12 V car socket.

4.3 Charging with a USB terminal device
* Connect the Micro USB charging cable's USB connector to an available USB port on a terminal
device (laptop, PC, etc.) that is capable of charging.
* The current charging status of the terminal device being charged will appear on this device
* Disconnect all cable and mains connections after use.
5. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning
agents. Make sure that water does not get into the product.
