Master/Slave Modus:
Drücken Sie die Mode-Taste -6- bis auf dem Display „G-1" er-
scheint. Durch Betätigen der Up und Down-Tasten -8, 9- können
Sie zwischen „G-1" bis „G-4" wählen. Dies sind die Funktionen
für den Master Betrieb.
G-1:
Musikgesteuerter Modus.
G-2:
Slow-Modus
G-3:
Fast-Modus
G-4:
Breakout Modus
Drücken Sie die Mode-Taste -6- bis auf dem Display „S-1" er-
scheint. Durch Betätigen der Up und Down-Tasten -8, 8- können
Sie zwischen „S-1" bis „S-4" wählen. Dies sind die Funktionen für
den Slave Betrieb.
S-1:
Wenn Sie diese Einstellung wählen, so wird der DJ Scanner 250 II
zum ersten Slave-Gerät.
S-2:
Wenn Sie diese Einstellung wählen, so wird der DJ Scanner 250 II
zum zweiten Slave-Gerät.
S-3:
Wenn Sie diese Einstellung wählen, so wird der DJ Scanner 250 II
zum dritten Slave-Gerät.
S-4:
Wenn Sie diese Einstellung wählen, so wird der DJ Scanner 250 II
zum vierten Slave-Gerät.
Es ist möglich, bis zu vier Geräte, die als Slave arbeiten, an den
DJ Scanner 250 II anzuschließen.
DMX-Modus:
Um im DMX-Modus arbeiten zu können, müssen zunächst alle
Scanic Geräte mit einem handelsüblichen, 3-poligen DMX-Kabel
(XLR) verbunden werden.
Verbinden Sie nun den Ausgang -3- des ersten Gerätes mit dem
Eingang -4- des zweiten Gerätes, den Ausgang des zweiten Ge-
rätes mit dem Eingang des 3 Gerätes usw.
Der Scanic DJ Scanner DMX ist mit einer Auto Locate-Funktion
ausgestattet: Werden die Geräte mit einem DMX-Kabel miteinan-
der verbunden, oder wird ein Scanner in eine schon existierende
Kette eingefügt, so adressieren sie sich selbstständig.
Die Adressierung funktioniert bei fast allen gängigen DMX-Cont-
rollern automatisch. Sollte das nicht funktionieren, so können sie
den Kanal auch manuell einstellen:
Drücken Sie die Mode-Taste -6- bis auf dem Display „A001" er-
scheint. Durch Betätigen der Up- bzw. Down-Tasten -8, 9-, kön-
nen Sie die gewünschte DMX-Adresse einstellen.

If you select this item, the DJ Scanner 250 II becomes the fourth
slave device.
It is possible to connect up to 4 slave devices to the master DJ
Scanner 250 II.
DMX Mode:
In order to be able to work in DMX mode, all Scanic devices have
to be connected via a standard 3-pin DMX cable (XLR).
Connect the output -3- of the first device to the input -4- of the
second device; connect the output of the second device to the
input of the third device, etc.
The Scanic DJ Scanner 250 II disposes of an Auto Locate
Function: If the devices are connected to each other via DMX
cables, or a scanner is integrated into an already existing chain,
the devices are going to address themselves automatically.
The addressing function is designed to work with nearly all DMX
controllers. If the auto locate function does not work, it is also
possible to manually adjust the channel.
Press the the Mode Button -6- until "A001" appears on the
display. Via the Up and Down Buttons -8, 9- it is possible to set
the desired DMX addresse.
