The product is not to be used if
it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage .
Regularly check the mains
plug and the mains cord for
damages .
If the mains cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard .
Protect the mains cord against
damages . Do not let it hang
over sharp edges, do not
squeeze or bend it . Keep the
mains cord away from hot
surfaces and open flames .
Clean the product and surfaces
in contact with foodstuff
(see "Cleaning and care") .
Always disconnect the
product from the supply if it
is left unattended and before
assembling, disassembling or
cleaning .
Do not use any accessories
other than those supplied with
the product .
Stop using the product and
its accessories if any part is
damaged or has visible cracks .
Do not install the peeling disc or
spin basket directly on the drive
shaft without the container .
The peeling disc is sharp .
Use extreme caution during
assembly, while operating,
disassembly and cleaning .
Do not place the product on
hot plates (gas, electric, coal
cooking range etc .) .
Operate the product on a level,
stable, clean, and dry surface .
Never touch the main unit, the
mains cord or the mains plug
with wet hands .
Do not pull the mains plug out
of the socket outlet by the mains
cord .
Protect the product and its
accessories against dust, direct
sunlight, dripping and splashing
water .
Protect the product against heat .
Do not place the product close
to open flames or heat sources
such as stoves or heating
appliances .
Switch off the product and
disconnect from supply before
changing accessories or
approaching parts that move in
use .

1 . Remove the packaging materials .
2 . Clean the product (see "Cleaning and care") .
NOTE: The product may give off some odour
during first use . These are production or
transport residue that will quickly subside .
