TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM
The air fryer does
not work.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The appliance is not
plugged in.
You have not set the timer.
The quantity of food in the
frying basket is too much.
The set temperature
is too low.
The cooking time is too short.
Certain food types need to be
shaken halfway through the
cooking time.
There are too many ingredients
in the frying basket.
You are frying greasy
ingredients.
The frying basket and frying
rack still contains grease
residues from previous use.
You did not use the right type
of potato.
You did not rinse the
potatoes.
The crispiness of the fries
depends on the amount of oil
used and water in the potato.
SOLUTION
Insert the mains plug into an earthed
wall socket.
Set the timer button to the required cooking
time to switch on the appliance..
Put smaller batches of food in the frying
basket. Smaller batches will be fried
move evenly.
Adjust the temperature to the type of food.

section for cooking temperatures.
Prolong the cooking time. See the table in the
"Menu functions" section for cooking times.
Food that lies on top of or across each
other (e.g. fries) need to be shaken halfway
through the cooking time.
Do not fill the frying basket beyond the
MAX indication.
When you fry greasy ingredients in the air
fryer, a large amount of oil will leak into the
pot. The oil produces white smoke and the
pot may heat up more than usual. This does
not affect the appliance or the end result.
White smoke is caused by grease heating
up. Make sure you clean the frying basket
and frying rack correctly after each use.
Floury potatoes are recommended.
Rinse the cut potatoes properly to remove
starch.
Make sure you dry the cut potatoes
properly before you add the oil.
Cut the potatoes in thinner strips.
Add slightly more oil.
