ON/OFF button

The big round button is the on/off button and has several functions:
ON
Shortly press the button to switch on light/music, timer and cry sensor.
Timer and cry sensor will only become active when the slider is not in the off position.
Sound and light OFF
Shortly press the button. Light and music will go off, but cry sensor will stay active
for 12 hours, if you put the slider on low/high.
All OFF
both sound, light and cry sensor
Press and hold the button, light will blink red when done.
Light, sound and cry sensor will be shut off.
Change settings
Light
Colour
Shortly press the small button to scroll through all colours or to switch off the light:
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, red pulsating, multi-colour - off.
Please note that if you switch off the light here, pressing the big button will no longer
switch on the light while the setting is remembered.
Brightness
Press and hold to select your preferred brightness: high-medium-low.
Timer
Put the slider in the preferred setting
- OFF: no timer (continuous on)
- 20 minute auto shut-off
- 40 minute auto shut-off
Sound
Melodies
Shortly press the small button to scroll through all melodies: heartbeat, white noise,
shushing, lounge, ocean, African sunset, breathing and 3 lullabies.
Please note that if you switch off the music here, pressing the big button will no longer
switch on the music while the setting is remembered.
Volume
Press and hold to select your preferred volume high-medium-low.
Cry sensor
- The cry sensor will activate the last used setting.
- The cry sensor has sensitivity settings:
Low = activates upon loud crying volume
High = activates upon medium/soft crying volume
Note If you only want to activate the cry sensor and not have any light or sound
immediately (i.e. child is already asleep), shortly press large button – light and sound will
turn off – but cry sensor will remain active for 12 hours (provided that slider is on low or
high). To switch off everything, sound/light and cry sensor long press the on/off button.
Power supply
- Ensure the rechargeable battery is fully charged before initial use.
- When battery indicator is blinking, the battery is running low, time to charge it.
- While charging, the indicator light is red. It will switch off once the battery is fully
charged, this takes about 2-2.5 hours.
- When finished charging, take out the charger plug.
- Please note that the product won't operate while charging for safety reasons.
- Use only the supplied cable to charge the product and insert it into a USB power
supply with the following symbols.
Battery life
The battery life varies based on the brightness and volume, but on average it should last
at least 11 hours.

- The connecting lead is low voltage only, but for reliability reasons it should be treated with care.
- For use only with the USB-cable that came with the ZAZU-product.
- The USB cable is not a toy.
- Long cable strangulation hazard.
- Do not place too close to the baby and fixate the plush to the cot with the velcro strap.
- This light does not get warm.
- This product is intended for indoor use and is not water resistant. Please keep dry.
- The plush can be washed by hand and air dried, but remove the module beforehand.
- For cleaning the module do not immerse in water, but wipe with a damp cloth.
- Do not try to disassemble the product if it stops working. Please contact customer service.
