6.2. Functional state of organs and systems
Functional state of tested organs and systems shows the degree of their tension
at the moment.
Due to external factors or depending on the state of the organ or system diff erent reactions
of your body are possible (the levels of activation):
• lack of tension, when there is not much eff ort is required to respond;
• slight tension under experiencing insignifi cant external infl uence;
• average tension when experiencing short external infl uence without causing signifi cant
damage, an organ or a system is able to compensate the infl uence;
• strong tension, when signifi cant infl uence is experienced;
• depression, when an organ or a system cannot perform the functional load in full by itself;
• overstrain (distress) when the organ or system is highly tensed.
