After uncoiling the rope, manually run it through meter by meter, repeating
the process two or three times, and gently shake it to remove any twists.
2) Taking in rope
The rope which is taken in should be laid on the cliff side of the anchor
point in order to avoid trapping the rope's end between the ring and the
rock face.
3) Rope management
In environments such as waterfalls, alpine climbs, and windy conditions,
it's crucial to ensure that the rope coils do not hang down below the belay
stance.
