- Intensive use: 3 months to 1 year.
- Average use: 2 to 3 years.
- Occasional use: 4 to 5 years.
- Rare use: 10 years (maximum duration of use).
Ropes must be discarded immediately under the following circumstances:
1. If it has experienced a serious fall.
2. If inspection reveals or even indicates damage to the core.
3. If the sheath is very worn.
4. In the event of extreme sheath slippage.
5. If it has been in contact with any active or dangerous chemicals.
6. If there is the slightest doubt about its security.

there are innumerable wrong uses possible, it is not feasible to show them
