The TEMPERATURE MANAGER heats the liquid up
unil it reaches the temperature desired for a given
automatic mode (see the table). When the temperature
is achieved, the device will emit an audible signal
(5 beep) and the letter: A, L or C will flash on the
display. At this point the user can:
1.Switch the TM off by pressing the TM Power Button.
2.Switch onto the manual mode by pressing one of the
following buttons:

If no action is taken, the security time-out will occur,
and the cooking zone will switch off automatically.
! BE careful when touching / taking off the
TEMPERATURE MANAGER, as it may become hot.
SETTING THE COOKING DURATION
The cooking duration can be set at any time by

If the duration is not set, the letter on the display will
continue to flash until the security time out occurs.
If the duration is set before the end of the preheating
period (i.e.at the begginning)- the achievement of the
desired temperature will be signalled by a single beep
sound, and the countdown of minutes will start.
If the duration is set after the desired temperature has
been reached (i.e. when the letter on the display is
already flashing), the letter stops flashing and the time
countdown is activated.
If the device is not switched off manually, it deactivates
automatically, when the temperature reaches an
adequate level, below the maximum temperature
suitable for a particular type of food.

SETTING THE COOKING DURATION
Even if the cooking duration was set previously, the
timer starts only after inserting the food into the pan.
The hob switches onto manual cooking mode, but
the duration is not reset. The countdown begins after
inserting the food into the pan, and then the cooking
zone switches off automatically.
If the cooking duration was set, and the user wants
to switch the hob onto the manual mode (without
inserting food), the timer gets reset.
When the temperature is achieved, the letter: E, U
or Y will flash on the display, until:
-the food is inserted into the pot
-the TEMPERATURE MANAGER is switched off by
means of the TM Power Button
-the hob is switched onto the manual mode by
pressing one of the following buttons:

If no action is taken, the security time out will occur,
and the cooking zone will switch off automatically.
! After use, switch off the hob element by its control
and do not rely on the pan detector.
