HOW TO CONNECT THE CABLE
At the end that connects to the headphone, the
�
lockable connecting cable is fitted with a 3-pin mini
XLR cable connector .
To connect the connection cable correctly, make
�
sure the small release nose must face the outside of
the headphone .
Make sure that the cable socket snaps into the
�
housing of the DT 1990 PRO MKII .

If you want to change the connection cable, please
�
press the small release nose and at the same time
pull the cable connector off the housing of the
DT 1990 PRO MKII .

Connect the stereo jack plug of the cable to
a headphone output only! If you connect the
DT 1990 PRO MKII to any other jack socket, it
could be damaged .
MAINTENANCE
For reasons of hygiene, you should occasionally

clean the headband and ear pads with a soft cloth
moistened with water . Make sure that no water en-
ters the housing or transducers .
If necessary, you can carefully remove the headband
�
an ear pads and clean them with mild soapy water .
Never use any solvent cleaning agents!
Furthermore, the pads must be completely
dry before they are re-attached to the
DT 1990 PRO MKII .
Never use a vaccum cleaner for cleaning the
DT 1990 PRO MKII, as this may cause irrepar-
able damage .
As headband and ear pads are subject to natural
�
wear and tear, it is necessary to replace them from
time to time . You can easily do this yourself .
