Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, read the following instructions
carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The
appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these
instructions.
Connection to the mains supply
The appliance should only be connected to an earthed
socket installed in accordance with the regulations. Make
sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage
marked on the rating label. This product complies with all
binding CE labelling directives.

Important safety instructions
∙ In order to avoid hazards, and to
comply with safety requirements,
repairs to this electrical appliance or
its power cord must be carried out by
our customer service. If repairs are
needed, please send the appliance to
our customer service department (see
our service addresses in the separate
warranty booklet or on
www.severin.de).
∙ Before commissioning, check the
whole appliance, including the power
cord and any accessories, to ensure
that there are no defects or damage,
which could impair the functional
safety of the appliance. For example, if
the appliance has fallen onto the floor,
or the power cord has been pulled,
there may be damage that cannot be
seen from the outside. In such cases,
do not operate the appliance.
∙ Warning! The housing surfaces and
accessories get hot during operation
and remain so after. Risk of burns!
∙ Always pull out the power plug before
cleaning. Always allow the appliance
sufficient time to cool down before
removing the grill plate and before
cleaning or storing the appliance.
∙ For reasons of electrical safety, the
main unit must never be cleaned with
liquids or immersed in them.
∙ Clean the grill plate, spatulas and
mini-pans with lukewarm water and
detergent. For more information on
cleaning, please refer to the "Cleaning
and Care" section.
∙ The appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control
system.
∙ Place the appliance freely on a stable,
temperature-resistant, splash-proof
surface to prevent hot fat from spilling.
Some splashes are unavoidable when
grilling greasy food.
∙ Never place the appliance directly
against a wall or corner, and ensure
there are no flammable objects in the
vicinity.
∙ This appliance is intended for
domestic or similar applications, such
as the
- staff kitchens in shops, offices and
other similar working environments,
- agricultural working environments,
- by customers in hotels, motels etc.
and similar accommodation,
